On 7/22 at the Tokyo Character Show 2000 , the Kira Kira Melody Gakuen event on the main stage took place at 12:30. Just before the event, they played the Daisuki promotion video on the giant screen on the stage. This is the video that will be on the Daisuki CD, as a CD extra movie file.

The event opened with the "Kira Melo Theme Song". 22 out of the 28 First Class girls appeared.

The emcees for this event were Nagai Nobuko and Sawai Natsumi. Nobuko announced that they will release a CD of Daisuki in August.

The first song was "Heart Chu no Theme - Idol ha Kitto Sekai wo Suku" by Heart Chu. Heart Chu was wearing their summer outfits, colorful camisole tops and short mini skirts.

The next song was "Soba ni Itai" by Dear Me. The members were Mayo, Miri, Tomoe, Fuuko, and Sara. Ikue and Emiko couldn't come because of other work. Tomoe had shorter hair than before.. She said that Mayo cuts her hair.

The next song was "Say U" by Muteki Palette.

Then Heart Chu came back to sing "Kira Kira".

After the song, everyone came back onto the stage. Since the Heart Chu girls were still changing, Fuuko and Chiyomi taught the crowd how to do some of the hand movements for the next song, Pride. After the Heart Chu girls came back, they sang "Pride".

The final song was "Daisuki".

After the song, Natsumi made an announcement. They were going to pass out flyers for the upcoming Daisuki CD . On the back were pictures of the Kira Melo girls who would remain as students after this event.

Natsumi explained that there was an "exam" for the Second Class students, and 34 students were chosen to remain in Kira Melo. So 16 students had transferred away. Also 6 of the First Class students left, as they were busy with other work and couldn't participate in the Kira Melo work. So there were going to be 22 First Class students and 34 Second Class students in Kira Kira Melody Gakuen from now.
