It used to be my main web and mail server, until 2007. To the outside world, it used to be www.usagi.org (and it's aliases).
The second configuration of nyu was a minor improvement, using the same case, CPU, memory, etc..

| The front of the computer has two blue lights along the side, and the light in the front window changes colors every few seconds. |
| The side of the case has a clear acrylic window so you can see inside. There is also a blue fan (without speed control) that blows air directly at the CPU. |

These are the two 8cm fans with orange LEDs.
These fans can go from 1400 to 2700 RPM.
These are at the front of the case, blowing air at the data hard disks.
The power connectors for two of the SATA disks have red and blue LEDs. These three disks are using Linux software RAID5. |

Nyu is running Fedora Core 3 x86_64 (64bit linux).
One 250GB disk is the OS, and the other three 320GB disks are using Linux's software RAID5 (md).
This motherboard has 4 SATA connectors. They are numbered as the table on the left, but the Linux device names are as the table on the right.

Although there are 4GB of memory in this machine, the motherboard will only let me see 3.1GB! The 915 and 945 based motherboards are pretty lame..
There is one gigabit ethernet card and one 100 Mbit ethernet card.
