Hummingbird CD drama recording

Tamagawa Sakiko, Mitsuishi Kotono, Amano Yuri, and Shiina Hekiru were there. But Kusachi Fumie wasn't.

In the drama, Hummingbird does a movie, and there is a fight scene against a monster in that movie.

How do you feel about doing this drama after the final concert?

Yuri

It's not much different from the previous Hummingbird. It's not that serious, it is somewhat comical. But since we haven't done the 4th video yet, it's hard.
(This CD drama story is supposed to take place after the final OVA.)

How do you feel about meeting your father?

Sakiko

I didn't think we would see father. He comes to the concert, and it was a surprise.

Yuri

I didn't think so either. I thought he would come to save us or something.

Kotono

He doesn't have to come right before the encore.. I liked mother's line when she told the girls that she would hold onto father. I thought that we would see father as a pilot..

Hekiru

I never thought that papa would come. I was thinking he might appear in the second OVA or so. Maybe he would come from space and we would have to fight. I thought we would see father in an airplane, but he wasn't like that.

some comments by the director

This is not a serious story. It fits in the Hummingbird world. In this CD drama, we are doing something that can only be done in audio. If you listen to all of the previous drama, you will understand the minor points.

The final concert finished with the ballad Yume no Basho he. Then there is a new song in this drama called Message. This song is a like a "thank you" song for the fans. The lyrics is made especially for the hard core fans.

In recent popular music, there are many new bands who sing a message song. But it doesn't carry any weight because they are new and they don't have much of a background. It's meaningless. But Hummingbird has a three year history. So Hummingbird sings this message song, and I think it carries a deep meaning.

Hekiru

In the song, there are the lyrics, "See you again". But it doesn't feel sad. I feel like we will see each other again. I'm glad that we were able to finish off with such a nice song as Message.
