Jinnai Katsuhiko (陣内克彦) said that Makoto is his rival. He was the president of the student council at Shinonome high school. He is a egotist and very proud of himself. Jinnai was born in April 1978, and was 174 cm tall.

Jinnai was also sent to El Hazard along with Makoto, but he ended up with the Bagurom. When he got sent to El Hazard, Jinnai got the ability to talk to the Bagurom. The other humans in El Hazard could not speak the Bagurom language.
