Heart Chu

[Heart Chu] Heart Chu is a group made up of Tsuchiya Mieko (土屋美恵子), Shintani Sayaka (新谷さや香), and Takahira Jun (高比良純), that was formed on August 26, 1999. Mieko is the lead singer, and Sayaka and Jun provide backup vocals. Heart Chu is pronounced "ha-chu" (はーちゅ).

They have five songs, Kira Kira, Tsururu Daishouri, N'est ce Pas, Twincle, and Idol ha Kitto Sekai wo Sukuu.

Heart Chu has had three different outfits for their songs. The first one was in summer and fall of 1999, the second one was in fall and winter of 1999 to 2000, and the third one was in spring of 2000.

At the Digi Chara Festival in May 2000, they changed their shoes from the white, fluffy, tall boots to colored platform sandals.

Heart Chu had their first solo live on July 2, 2000. There they wore many different outfits, and sang their fourth and fifth songs for the first time.

Heart Chu's debut CD single Kira Kira went on sale November 30, 2000, and their debut CD Heart Chu Style went on sale January 24, 2001.
