This drama is on the Saikai 5 Byoumae, Deatta Koro no Youni 2 CD, track 1.
The monologue after meeting the boy was not aired.

Before meeting the boy

Manami was looking for her mother, but she wasn't around. Her father had come home early to prepare for the family trip to Karuizawa. But Manami didn't want to go. She built up her courage and told her father that she didn't want to go. Father thought that Manami wasn't feeling good, but Manami said that she was fine. She said that she wanted to relax at home.

Manami said that she would stay home and take care of the house by herself, but her father said that she couldn't. He had already told the helper Sakamoto to take a vacation, but he was going to call her back. Just when father was talking to Sakamoto, Manami hung up the phone.

Manami said, "I'm sorry, but please listen to me. I'm healthy now. I can take care of the house by myself without Sakamoto."

But her father said that Manami was too weak.

Manami built up her courage and told her father that she was fine now. She made up her mind not to cry any more. Then she said to herself that she was able to go to Tokyo by herself.

"Please don't keep me locked in a cage. Please don't treat me like a bird without wings."

Then father agreed to let Manami stay home by herself.

Manami was out doing the laundry, and talking to the birds. Then the birds noticed someone coming.

"Is someone there?"

The footsteps came nearer.

"You are.."

After meeting the boy

After the boy left, Manami talked to the birds again. She was very happy that the boy remembered her, and came back for her. She said that he was the one that gave her courage. If he didn't come back to her, she might have become a cry baby again.

Manami cried, but it was because she was happy. It was the first time that she cried because she was happy. Manami said that she can wait forever for him.
