Myer: You didn't come from the surface of the earth did you?
Voogie: Surface?
Myer: The SE invaded from space and took over the surface of the earth. They say that the SE look just like humans.
Voogie: What are you staring at?
Myer: I'm just joking. If the invaders are that cute, I would be happy.

Myer: This aquabase was built 100 years ago. It's an underwater city that is 27 km long. It's always moving, so the SE haven't found out about us yet.

When Voogie said that she didn't remember anything about her home, Myer thought that Voogie worked for the mob as a waitress in a store.
Voogie: Dakara, chigautte!

Myer kept thinking that Voogie and Voogie's family was going to get in trouble if she didn't escape from the mob.
Myer: Don't worry Voogie, I'll protect you.

When Voogie said that it wasn't that way and that she would like to get off, Myer spotted a car following him.

Rebecca: Why? That taxi suddenly accelerated.
Merrybell: They must have spotted us.
Shiori: Even if they spotted us, she doesn't know who we are. Why are they escaping?
Rebecca: We'll lose them if we don't hurry.

Since there was no way to escape on the highway, Myer got off to the normal roads. The roads were in a reconstruction zone, so there weren't any other people around.

Shiori tried to communicate with Voogie via telepathy. But Voogie had no idea what was happening inside her brain, and refused the connection.

Rebecca told Midi to alter the street lights so they can corner Voogie. But the sudden change in lights was too much for Myer, and the taxi wiped out.

Merrybell: Wasn't that overdoing it?
Rebecca: All we did was change the lights. He just couldn't make the turn. But this crash isn't enough to put any scratches on Voogie.
Voogie: So, you do want to deal with me!

Myer was badly injured.
Voogie: Myer! Are you all right?
Voogie: You did this to Myer.. I won't forgive you!
