Peaty vol. 5
Peaty vol 5 was the fifth self produced event by Cutie Pai. There weren't any guests for this event. I was number 7, so I got a first row seat on the left side. But for this event, Cutie Pai changed formations! (;_;) Usually Miyuu (Kasumi) is on the left, but this time she was on the right for most of the songs. After the event I asked her if they were going to go with the new formation from now on, and she said that they would. So from now on I have to sit on the right side. The event flowed as follows.
For the talk show, they wore a sweater under a brown one piece. Makky was wearing a red scarf too. It looked like a late fall or winter clothes. During the talk show, Miyuu was the emcee and they introduced the individual work of the members. They showed the TV CMs of Mayu-chan and Makky on a screen. Miyuu said that she appeared in an indies movie, as a lead actress (indies = individual production). The talk show was around 10 minutes. The Disneyland video was a 9 minute video taken of Cutie Pai when they went to Disneyland (on 10/30 according to Makky's diary). Love Power is Cutie Pai's new song. It was written by Miyuu. For this song, Miyuu and Mayu-chan wore a long sleeve beige sweater with a red ribbon. Miyuu also wore a red beret. Makky wore a white short sleeve shirt, a red tie, and a navy vest. They all wore a red and black checkered, flared mini skirt (school girl style) and long black socks. Blue Rain is Makky's song, which is on the Character Carnival 2000+1 CD. The Little School (Mayu-chan and Miyuu) wore the same outfit they wore at the Idol Bunkasai. For Yell and Koi no Kisetsu to Kimi to Boku, Cutie Pai wore their idolish outfits again. For the encore, the girls wore the Cutie Pai T-shirts and the red and black checkered skirts. After the event, Cutie Pai held their usual "goods selling" stand. They didn't have any new goods, just their T-shirts.
my opinionsAs expected, Peaty vol 5 was a very enjoyable event. I like the new song Love Power very much! I hadn't expected Kasumi to be able to write such a good song.All of the Cutie Pai girls are getting better and better at putting on an enjoyable show. The only disappointment for this event would be that there wasn't any new "otaku"-ish outfit. I'm looking forward to seeing (and taking pictures) of Cutie Pai in a new outfit.
photo notesI took a DV of most of the event with a tripod, and took 4.5 rolls (36) of Konica Sinbi 200 using both cameras (EOS-1NHS with 70-200mm F2.8 and EOS-7 with 85mm F1.8).
