The Tokyo Game Show 2006 took place from September 22 to September 24,
2006. The first day (9/22) was business day.
I went on 9/24, mainly to take pictures of Saaya, who was working
as a model for the game Busou Shinki at the Konami booth.
There were several seiyuu events during the day, but not as many as
in the past.
(The peak of the seiyuu event boom was probably around 1999 or 2000.)
I saw some of the crowds surrounding the seiyuu events,
and decided not to go watch the events.
But I saw Makishima Yuki at a Tokimemo event (Konami),
and Furuya Tohru at a Gundam event (Bandai) from a distance.
The Tokimemo event (a public recording) wasn't that crowded.
Miyano Shizu was at the Nihon Enterprise booth,
working as a model for some high school based game.
She was dressed up as one of the boy characters,
and there were a few other cosplayers.
There were a few photo sessions during the day.
I also saw Tarama Yuko cosplaying as one of the I's characters
for the I's game at the Takara Tomy booth.
There were several maid companions for some games.
A couple years ago, there were many sexy type outfits,
but now some "cute" types seem to have come back.
