Ani Song Saturday
This event is a monthly event where minor seiyuu and idols sing anime related songs. This event started in early 2004, but this was the first one that I attended. This was also supposed to be the last one. I went to watch Ichii Hiori, and this was her 14th singing event. This was the first time that Hiori performed in this event. The crowd was around 30 people, which made the live house very crowded. No photos, videos, recording allowed at this event. Ohtake Yuko was the emcee. The event flowed as follows.
Hiori was wearing a long sleeve white sweater top with frills, and a white striped mini skirt. She also had a cross necklace. VERY cute! Hiori sang two Macross songs, "Sunset Beach" and "Tenshi no Enogu". She was very nervous (the most nervous that I ever saw her), and she had trouble singing and hitting the high notes on "Sunset Beach". In between songs, she talked a little (introduced herself and such). Hiori sang the second song much better. In the middle of the event, all of the performers came onto the stage and sang a medley. They song only the first verse of each song. The medley went as follows.
They announced that there will be a one year anniversary Ani Song Holiday event on 1/4 at Live Inn Magic. There were many guests named, including Hiori. They also announced that this event will continue next year in the form of Ani Song Holiday Z, starting 1/23. At the end, everyone came back onto the stage to sing one more song (I couldn't recognize it). Hiori had changed clothes (back into her street clothes).
