The Pokemon Battle World event took place from 8/1 to 8/31 at the Sunshine City in Ikebukuro. This event had three major attractions.

The first was a walk through display of figures (life sized) of Pokemon and characters in their settings. I think these displays were based on the new movie, and there were displays of the new characters and Pokemon.

There were also displays of all the Pokemon game cards, some Pokemon cels, and some little Pokemon figures.

Then there was a 30 minute kigurumi show. There are some more pictures of the Pokemon kigurumi show. The kigurumi show took place in a very large area, with everyone sitting on the floor. I waited from about one hour before the show, so I was able to sit in the third row. There were over 1000 people watching the show.

Then there was an area where they sold a lot of Pokemon goods, and had a lot of Pokemon catcher machines.
