Between 8/?? and 8/31, the Sailor Moon S Festival event was held on the first floor of the Tokyo Tower. The admission fee was 300 yen.

I went to the Sailor Moon S Festival on 8/20, with a group of 6 other older boys. It was pretty crowded, mostly with little girls and their parents.

The attractions in this event were as follows.

    • kigurumi Usagi and Tuxedo Kamen in the lobby
    • Sailor Moon S display
    • Mecca Harajuku store

    kigurumi Usagi and Tuxedo Kamen

In the lobby of Tokyo Tower, the kigurumi Usagi and Tuxedo Kamen were out to greet the kids, and older boys. They were very cheerful and many people took pictures with them. Since Mr K had brought his camera, I took a picture of him and Usagi. Then Usagi-chan came and shook hands with all of us.. (^_^;)

    Sailor Moon S display

The display was not very big, as one would have guessed by the 300 yen admission price. There were life sized dolls of Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury, and Sailor Mars. The faces of these dolls were not very good.

There were pictures and some information about the Sailor Moon seiyuu. These boards were the same as the ones used at other shows.

There was a display called Usagi's room, which was made up pretty well with Usagi's bed and desk.

There was a display which had the professor's laboratory. It had the test tubes, beakers, and other chemistry lab equipment.

There was another life sized display of the Sailor Senshi. The dolls were of Moon, Mercury, and Mars. The other senshi (Venus, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus) had life sized cardboard cutout figures.

There was also a theater where they kept showing Sailor Moon S TV episodes.

Also along the walls of the entire display, they had cels from the TV series. Most of these cels were very very nice.

    Mecca Harajuku store

Near the entrance of the Sailor Moon S display, Mecca Harajuku, an anime goods store in Harajuku, had put out a store to sell Sailor Moon goods. They also had some cels, but they were not very good ones. (;_;) Of course I still spent around 7000 yen on cels. (^_^;;)
