Parler Chiffons V
The fifth event by the group Chiffons, Parler Chiffons V, took place on August 22, 1998 at the Toshima Koukaidou Hall in Ikebukuro. The previous events were held in smaller halls, but this was held in a large hall as this was the first one with a guest, Inoue Kikuko. The event opened with a song by Chiffons, Higher and Deeper. After the song, there was a Star Trek-like skit by the three seiyuu. Some of the audio was pre-recorded, and voiced by Ohtsuka Akio. For most of the skit, the three girls were dressed in a school girl outfit, with a white shirt, and red checkered wrap-around skirt. Kyoko had a miffy pouch on her waist. The girls' space ship got attacked, and landed on the moon. There they met a "rabbit alien", which was Inoue Kikuko with rabbit ears, a white frilly dress (very short, above the knees), long white socks, and white slippers. Kikuko turned out to be a rabbit alien who ate humans.. She even put on a miffy apron over the rabbit outfit. But Kikuko didn't speak much at all.. After the skit, there was another song by Chiffons, Love Potion. Then there was a 15 minute break. After the break, there was another song by Chiffons, Pure. This was a new song, going on sale in September. They wore the clothes that they wore for the jacket picture. Then there was a song by Kikuko, Mukuchi na Tabibito. Kikuko wore a very long, green one piece, with long sleeves. There was a colorful design on the front, and at the wrists. She also wore flat red shoes, and had ear rings. After Kikuko's song, there was a talk show (around 30 minutes). They talked about the skit they did, and they said that since Kikuko wouldn't be able to remember the lines, the script writer didn't give her any lines. After Kikuko left, the Chiffons had their own talk show for around 30 minutes. They said that they came up with the dance/movements for their new songs the previous day. Chiffons will also release an album, and it will contain solo songs. Then the event ended with Kimi wo Mamorutame Boku ha Yume Miru by Chiffons. Then there was an encore call, and the three seiyuu came back on stage wearing the Chiffons T-shirt (which happened to be on sale in the lobby). Kyoko was wearing a pink one, Yuki was wearing a green one, and Sachiko was wearing a blue one. They talked for a while and advertised their goods. Then Kikuko came out wearing a yellow Chiffons T-shirt. She was also wearing a long black skirt with small white poka dots, and flat black shoes.
