Shiawase Croissant Christmas Live
The first live by Shiawase Croissant took place on December 19, 1999, at the Eggman live house in Shibuya. The Eggman is a small live house, but they crammed in close to 300 people for this event. The hundred or so people in the back probably couldn't see anything.
The event flowed as follows.
The event opened with Kikuko and Maria singing Yume Miru Tegami. They were both wearing aprons over fancy long dresses.
After the song, they went to take off their aprons, and came back to read some of the survey questions that the people in the crowd filled out. They seemed to just pull the sheets out at random.
Next they did the "Christmas date with Maria/Kikuko" corner, where they had one person from the audience read lines from a script, with the situation being a "date" with Maria or Kikuko.
Then Kikuko and Maria sang Kira Kira Kirari.
Kikuko and Maria went off the stage to change..
Kikuko and Maria came back onto the stage wearing santa outfits! Kikuko was in a one piece skirt (mini skirt) style santa outfit, with hat. Maria was in a two piece santa outfit (top and short skirt), with hat.
They sang a medley of Christmas songs. All of the songs were in Japanese, except for White Christmas.
Then Kikuko and Maria brought out a large bag of presents. They pulled numbers out of a box, and passed out over 10 presents.
Then Kikuko and Maria sang Shiawase no Croissant, for the first time in public, to end the event.
After a short call for an encore, Kikuko and Maria came out. They made some announcements. They said that there was going to be a Shiawase Croissant CD-ROM going on sale.
At the end they sang Yume Miru Tegami (imohori version). The dance was a little different from the normal version.
