Kira Kira Melody Gakuen Dai Bunkasai
The six hour Kira Kira Melody Gakuen Bunkasai event took place on 11/27, at the Studio Devies in Harajuku. This studio was divided up into two parts, the live hall and the goods/food corner. The stages events were held in the live hall, and the goods/food corner was set up in the small lobby. As the Kira Melo girls were selling stuff in the small lobby area, it was very crowded. In addition to the food (yakisoba, oden, sandwich, cotton candy, drinks), Gamers had a table set up to sell Di Gi Charat goods. Also Shibata Shouka wore a miko outfit and did some fortune telling, and some of the girls drew portraits (1000 yen ? each). This was too crowded.. The live stages in the live hall were scheduled as follows.
All of the Kira Melo students participated, except for Tokunaga Ai,
Arama Riasu, Itou Aya, and Suzuki Michiko.
(So 47 of the girls participated.)

This was a long six hour event, but it seemed to go very fast.
Kira Melo stage 1The songs/corners in the Kira Mero first stage were as follows.
The emcees for this event were: Tanabe Miri, Sawai Natsumi, Hiroe Mina, and Shindou Yoko. At the beginning, Doumen Satomi gave a short speech to open the festival. Then all the girls got up the stage (the stage was jam packed), and they sang the Kira Melo school song and the Kira Melo theme song. All the girls were wearing the school uniform (shirt and vest). Then everyone left the stage, except for the emcees. The first skit was Gakuen Sentai Kira Melo 5. The five "sentai" girls wore different colored socks with their school uniform (^_^;). The sentai girls were: Daikoku Yuuka (red), Itou Emiko (yellow), Ohtsuka Mae (pink), Inokuchi Yuka (black), Higasayama Tsugumi (blue). The "evil" kuro yuri (Black Lily) girls were Kadowaki Mai and Kuwakado Sora, who wore black socks and a black ribbon. The narration was done by Hosokawa Seika. The next skit was the "Shexy" professor and assistants skit. The professor was Misaki Mami, and the assistants were Shindou Yoko and Asano Masumi. They came out wearing white lab coats, with thick glasses. After eating the medicine to make her "shexy", the professor took off her coat, and she was wearing only a skimpy Cutey Honey outfit. Then Mami sang Cutey Honey (just one verse). Then the two assistants then ate the medicine, and took off their coats. They were wearing flashy, glittering clothes, and sang UFO (a Pink Lady song). In the middle of UFO, Mami threw out the "medicine" to the crowd. I got some of them, thinking it was sweet candy. But it was some tuna candy.. The next group was Makkiss, made up of Hinano Mayo, Matsumoto Chiyomi, Minano Fuuko, and Ohgoshi Tomoe. Mayo sang Shinin' On Shinin' Love, and the others danced. The next group was White Che. There used to be a group White Chu (Sawai Natsumi and Nagai Nobuko). Then Sakurai Sara joined to make the group White Che (Sakurai = cherry). Natsumi, Nobuko, and Sara came onto the stage wearing very cute, white, frilly outfits. Natsumi was on the left, Nobuko was in the middle, and Sara was on the right. They sang Toshi Shita no Otokonoko (a Candies song). The last group was Me (of Dear Me), Kimura Ikue and Tanabe Miri. They danced to one song (a dance song), sang Body & Soul, and then danced to the first song again. Then all of the girls came back onto the stage and they sang Odoru Houkago and Daisuki. Before they sing Daisuki, Nagai Nobuko says, "Daisuki desu," to introduce the song.. [mero, mero.. (^_^;;)] This was the first time that all the Kira Melo girls sang Daisuki together. At prior events, when they sung this song, they only had some of the girls.
Matsumoto, Tsuchiya, Takase, Kimura, Sawai stageMatsumoto Chiyomi, Tsuchiya Mieko, Takase Noriko, Kimura Ikue, and Sawai Natsumi came onto the stage to sing one song, Idol Deka Theme Song (just one verse). These girls appeared on a live action TV show (the previous week), and acted in the Idol Deka show.[I don't know if this was a one shot TV show, or a series.]
Kira Melo Super Unit LiveThe songs in the super unit live corner were as follows.
The emcees for this stage were Hiroe Mina and Shindou Yoko. The first group was Melo Melo Melon (Heart Chu plus Nagai Nobuko), and they sang Meguru Kisetsu. This is a 6 minute song where the four girls each sing about one season, and they wrote the lyrics themselves. The order was Tsuchiya Mieko (spring), Nagai Nobuko (summer), Takahira Jun (fall), and Shintani Sayaka (winter). Nobuko said that she wrote the lyrics in one hour, but the other girls said that it took about one week. The next song was by Sawai Natsumi, who sang Born Again from the game/anime (?) Cyberstar. The next song was by Itou Emiko, who sang Viva! Onnanoko Doumei from the TV series Seraphim Call episode 4. Kimura Ikue said she also did a voice in Seraphim Call, in the role of a female girl. Emiko said that her character Hatsumi will also appear in episode 12 of Seraphim Call. The next group was Muteki Palette, but Arama Riasu and Satou Chizuko weren't there, so there were only 8 out of 10 girls. The girls were Matsumoto Chiyomi, Sakurai Sara, Ohtsuka Mae, Takase Noriko, Yabuta Naoko, Kadowaki Mai, Kuwakado Sora, Furuuchi Rika. They basically wore the same outfits as in the Halloween event, but there were some minor changes in the accessories and such. They sang Say U. The next group was Dear Me, and they sang Stormy Dune. Dear Me is Hinano Mayo, Ohgoshi Tomoe, Tanabe Miri, Kimura Ikue, and Minano Fuuko. Mayo does all of the singing, Tomoe and Miri do just a little bit of the background vocals, and Ikue and Fuuko just dance. The next group was Heart Chu, and they sang Tururu Daishouri and Kira Kira. "Tururu" is pronounced "chururu". They wore the mini one-piece dresses and tall boots: Mieko (white), Sayaka (blue), Jun (pink).
Then Chiyomi, Ikue, and Mayo came out to do a few comedy skits.
Then everyone (the 19 girls) came back onto the stage to sing Daisuki.
Kira Melo stage 2The songs/corners in the Kira Mero second (and final) stage were as follows.
The first skit was a magic show by the Kira Melo magic club. The first magic (a card trick) was performed by Sayaka and Miri. The second magic was performed by Emiko, Jun, and Mae.
The next skit was the Kira Melo youchien (kindergarten) skit.
It was a field trip for the "kids" of the Kira Melo youchien, which was
full of unique kids. The teacher was Minano Fuuko.
The students were: Sakurai Sara, Shintani Sayaka, Takahira Jun,
Tsuchiya Mieko, Ohgoshi Tomoe, Tanabe Miri, Matsumoto Chiyomi,
and Sawai Natsumi.
Next they had the "ball do pon" corner, where everyone in the audience
throws a small rubber ball into a cardboard box on stage.
Those who successfully throw the ball into the box gets a random present
(a personal item from one of the Kira melo girls).
The winners had to go up onto the stage to get the present from the girls.
The presents were in a bag, so nobody knew what everyone was going to get.
After the presents were given out, Muteki Palette came onto the stage to sing Say U. This time Satou Chizuko was there, so 9 out of 10 girls were there. There were some minor changes in clothing and dance again. Then Heart Chu came onto the stage to sing Kira Kira. Then everyone came back onto the stage to sing Daisuki, for the third time today. This time, I yelled out "Non-chan" after Nobuko's solo part, and "Mi-ko" after Mieko's solo part. I think it's part of the standard calls now. (^_^;) After this song, Matsumoto Chiyomi and Serai Shizuko gave the "thank you for coming" message. Then they announced that there will be a Kira Melo Christmas live on 12/25, and that they will appear as guests at the Anime Kouhaku Utagassen event on 12/27. Then the girls left the stage.. but since there were almost 50 girls, it took them a while to leave. The call for the encore began before all the girls had left the stage.. The girls all came back to sing Daisuki once again (fourth time today).

The other Muteki Palette members are: Kadowaki Mai, Kuwakado Sora, Yabuta Naoko, Ohtsuka Mae, and Furuuchi Rika. For the Makkiss song, I only counted Hinano Mayo, as the other girls only danced. For Dear Me, I only counted Mayo, Tomoe, and Miri, as Ikue and Fuuko just danced.
