Daisuki Live at Sega Freaks Akihabara
The final event of the Daisuki "stamp rally promotion tour" (^_^; took place on 9/17 at the Sega Game Center in Akihabara. They had planned to set up a stage in the middle of the street, and have the live there, but since the typhoon hit Tokyo and it was raining, they held the event inside the game center. I arrived at the Sega Game Center before 10:00. I was the 5th person there. When the game center opened (10:00), they started building the little stage inside the game center. They had moved some of the UFO catcher machines out of the way to make space, but it was still very small. Since they didn't want all the fans blocking the entrance and the street, they passed out numbers. (We talked them into making numbers to pass out.. ^_^;) They said that they would let people in at 13:30, but they didn't actually let people in until past 14:00. So the event started a little late. Only 20 or so people were able to fit into the game center, right in front of the stage. Since I was number 5, I was in the front row (within touching distance of the stage). This was the closest that I have sat for any event. I sat on the right side, positioned right in front of Nobuko. (^_^; Everyone else had to stand outside the game center, and peek through the door (two sliding doors), or peek through the windows. Since there were around 100 or so people, I bet most people couldn't see much.. Also the speakers were set up inside the game center. I wonder if the people outside were able to hear anything.. The emcees for the event were Nagai Nobuko and Ohtsuka Mae. 10 girls appeared in this event. In addition to Nobuko and Mae, Tsuchiya Mieko, Shintani Sayaka, Takahira Jun, Hinano Mayo, Ohgoshi Tomoe, Tanabe Miri, Sakurai Sara, and Sawai Natsumi. The event flowed as follows.
Nobuko and Mae tried to do a lot of funny poses when they were introducing the songs. I wish they allowed videos/pictures. Heart Chu and Dear Me wore their group outfits for their songs. Everyone else wore the school uniform. The formation for Say U was as follows.
Those in the front were the "cute" group, and those in the back were the "big" group. For Kira Para Fire, Nobuko was in the back row, and to the left, so I couldn't see her at all. I just watched Sara, who was in the front row. They announced that they will have their next event at the JAMMA (Amusement Machine) Show. After the songs, they had a handshake session for those who bought the Daisuki CD. They also passed out a signed poster to those who went though the handshake session. The poster was signed by one of the 10 girls, but it was rolled up so you didn't know which one you got (another "trading" poster). I went twice, and got Nobuko and Mieko. (VERY lucky!) I have so many Kira Melo signed posters now. (^_^;
