On June 18, 2000 there was a karaoke championship tournament at the GIGO game center in Shibuya. There was an outdoor stage on the second floor of GIGO, and the singing took place there. The people all watched from the street, as the street is closed off to traffic on Sundays.

In addition to the participants of the contest, there were some minor idols as special guests. Heart Chu was one of the guests. Heart Chu sang their usual four songs Kira Kira, Tururu Daishouri, Ne c'est pas, and Daisuki.

After their song (about 10 to 15 minutes after), Heart Chu came down onto the street to pass out flyers about their solo live (to take place on 7/2) and other Kira Melo events.

Pictures and videos were allowed, but since it was pretty far from the street to the second floor stage, one needed a pretty big (and bright) lens to get decent pictures. (A 300mm F2.8 or 400mm F2.8 with a 2x teleconverter would have been nice.)

Since I had to play a baseball game earlier this day, I was late in arriving, and I only caught the last two Heart Chu songs. (;_;) But I did get to see Heart Chu when they came down onto the street.
