  • Event report version 0.5 by Hitoshi Doi, 2001.07.11

The Kome E Jan (monthly event by the Orions Belt actors/actresses) for July 2001 took place on 7/8.

Everyone was wearing yukata for this event. They wore the yukata for the entire event. Miyanishi Noa was wearing a red yukata with a yellow obi, and had her hair in twin tails off to the sides.

The event flowed as follows (I'm probably missing some skits or songs).

  • Natsu Matsuri (everyone)
  • summertime skit (many)
  • ? (Megumi)
  • skit
  • Natsu Iro no Tenshi (Miyanishi Noa)
  • Dokki Doki! Love Mail (? Asuka)
  • female island skit (Noa, Akarai, Noe, Megumi, Mei, Aki)
  • Majokko Megu (Hayashi Akari)
  • Tropical Koishiteru (?)
  • "10 years in the future" (Noa, Akari, Noe, Maya, Aki, etc)
  • Choubakuretsu Ranman Musume (Noa, Akari, Noa, Mei, Megumi)
  • ? (?)
  • ending
  • photo session

Miyanishi Noa was on the stage for the first song Natsu Matsuri, her solo Natsu Iro no Tenshi, the female island skit, the 10 years in the future skit, the Choubakuretsu Ranman Musume song, the ending, and the photo session. This is by far the most that she has been on stage at the Kome E Jan events.

For the "10 years in the future" skit, everyone pulled a card out of a and that card had their future profession. So it was all random, but they had to act on their future profession. Miyanishi Noa had gotten a "fortune teller". Near the end of this skit, Aki asked Noa if she had a boy friend. Noa said that she was married, and she married one of her fans! (^_^;

For the Choubakuretsu Ranman Musume song, Noa was in the middle.

photo notes

I tried out my new camera EOS 7 for the first time. It's so light! That will need some getting used to. I had trouble keeping such a light camera still! But the AF on the EOS 7 is really good, compared to my EOS 1N-HS. The 7 can only do 4 frames per second, and the sound of the shutter isn't as good as the 1N shutter. This bothered me initially. But considering the price, the EOS 7 is a very nice camera.

I switched back and forth between the 7 and 1N, so I ended up taking 8 rolls. 5 rolls (36) of Konica Centuria 800, 1 roll (36) of Kodak Supra 800, and 2 rolls (36) of Kodak Gold MAX 400.

For the event, they don't allow flash, but for the ending and the photo session, they allowed flash. I used 400 film for that part.. But since I pitched one game in the morning before the event, I was pretty tired and I didn't have enough strength to keep the camera still too long. A lot of the pictures were blurry. (;_;)

Next, I wanna try out the EOS 7 at an outdoor (bright area) event.

I also filmed Noa's songs and skits with a DV camera.
