Chocolate Kiss is a love adventure Playstation game going on sale in February of 2002. There are nine major characters (girls), and their voices were done by the nine LaLaLu girls. The Choco Kiss cast was kept secret until 12/14.

The Chocolate Kiss event at Messe San'ou (a major game store at the edge of Akihabara), was held on the sidewalk in front of the store. There were a couple game machines which were running Chocolate Kiss (don't know if it's a completed version or an in development version). There was on emcee guy and three LaLaLu girls, and it was a talk event. Sakurai Sara, Shintani Sayaka, and Hinano Mayo were the LaLaLu girls.

The event was scheduled to start at 13:15, but it started about 15 minutes late. The LaLaLu girls were sitting in a car in front of the store waiting for the staff to get ready for the event. (^_^; There were around 20 to 30 fans, who were waiting on the sidewalk.

At 13:30, the girls got out of the car and went to the front of the store. The talk show was about the game, but I didn't pay much attention to it, as I was too busy taking pictures with my new EOS D30. (^_^; It was difficult to take pics, as it was a crowded Sunday afternoon, and there were many people walking on the sidewalk.

The talk event ended just before 14:00, and the girls rushed back into the car, and the car took off right away.

photo notes

I bought an EOS D30 the previous day (^_^; so this was a good event to try out my new camera. But since I wasn't sure that they would allow pics, I only brought one small lens. (;_;) Also my 540EZ flash doesn't work with the D30, so I was only able to use the internal flash.

I was very disappointed with the normal camera features of the D30, as it is based on the EOS-55 (a cheap toy). But I was satisfied with the digital part.

I bought a new 128MB Compact Flash card on the way to the event (^_^; but I didn't take enough pictures to fill it. It's very convenient to be able to see the pics right away, and toss the bad ones. I took around 120 pictures, but only 60 or so were worth keeping.
