LaLaLu Christmas Live
The LaLaLu Christmas Live, called Merry Merry LaLaLu, was a two hour song and skit event. There were many new songs, and most of the songs had very difficult dances. This was obviously an event where the girls needed a lot of preparation.
The event flowed as follows.
They sang the new song Jeweleaf, the fast song Real Power, and the ballad Try or Cry.
Then the screen came down, and they showed a video of You & I. But this wasn't just a normal video, it was a 3D video where everyone had to use the blue and red glasses which were handed out at the beginning of the event. The 3D affect was pretty disappointing. Everything was very reddish, and the people didn't pop out that much..
After the video, Noa, Asuka, Mae, and Fuuko came out wearing their pink outfits (probably the same as the fan club event), and they sang a new song Session Impossible. This was a "cute" song. Then the next new song was Risky Nails by Aina, Ikue, Mayo, Sara, and Sayaka. They were all wearing a black outfit, and this was a "cool" song.
Then they had a Christmas Eve skit. This skit was written by Mayo.
After the skit, there was a lot of Christmas songs, all in English. Chori Wonton (Sara and Noa) sang Santa Claus is Coming to Town, Fuuko, Asuka, and Mae sang I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, Aina and Mayo sang White Christmas, and Sayaka and Ikue sang Happy Xmas.
Then they all sang LaLaLu's Christmas song Kami-sama ni Ichiban Chikai Hi.
After that, they announced that the LaLaLu girls will be doing voices in a game called Chocolate Kiss. LaLaLu will sing the songs for this game, and each girl will have a solo song. Then they sang one song from the game, My All. This was a slow song.
The final song was Romantic wo Hajimemashou.
After the girls left the stage, there was a call for an encore, and three guys came onto the stage. The guys did a dance to a LaLaLu song. This was probably just to give the girls some time to rest. (^_^;
Then the LaLaLu girls came back onto the stage, and sang Jeweleaf and You & I.
After these songs, Asada Yumi, the producer and writer of all of the LaLaLu songs, came onto the stage. Then they all sang My All. During this song, all of the girls waved a pink stick with a plastic star on it. Then at the end of the song, the girls gave the stick to the crowd. Since I was sitting in the first row, and I happen to be sitting right in front of Noa, Noa handed me her stick!
