Anime Paradise in Tohoku
This was an anime/seiyuu singing event with various seiyuu guests. One of the guests was Venus Project, and the Venus Project members who participated were Hata Sawako, Hayase Marika, and Himesaki Ami.
I arrived at 15:30, and they had started selling goods at 15:00. There was a big line for Venus Project, but there was no line for the others. They gave out one high touch ticket per 2000 yen spent. They let in as scheduled at 16:30. The hall was the "small hall", but it was still pretty large, with a capacity over 400. The event was "sold out", but when the event started it wasn't full. It was probably less than 90% full. I was in the 4th row on the left side. Since the stage was pretty high, I could see the whole stage well. The event started around 10 minutes late. They started the event by showing a video introduction of the performers. After the intro video, the event flowed as follows.
details of the Venus Project stageThe Venus Project stage was around 30 minutes, and flowed as follows.
Sawako had her hair tied up into a pony tail with a ribbon. This was the first time that Sawako sang "One Stage" at an event. "One Stage" is Ruka Sovagasky's character song. After the event ended, there was a high touch session for the Venus Project girls. This took place in the lobby area, about 10 minutes after the event ended (19:20). trip to/from SendaiThis was the first time I went to an event in Sendai.Since this was a late event, I didn't have to wake up early.. but actually I had baseball in the morning. I took the 12:36 shinkansen, and it took about 2 hours to Sendai. There is a faster shinkansen that takes 1.5 hours, but that only runs once an hour and the 12:20 train was full. I slept through most of the train ride. Since I got this ticket in an auction just two nights ago, I had to go pick up the tickets at the post office inside Sendai Station. But I still had plenty of time. I took the subway from Sendai to Izumi Chuuou, and arrived around 15:30. On the way home I rushed out after the high touch session, and took the subway to Sendai. I got to Sendai just before 20:00, and got a ticket for the 20:30 Hayabusa (arriving in Tokyo at 22:04). I noticed that my Y-mobile router didn't work for most of the northen half of the trip. Also my nose noticed that there was a lot more pollen flying around in Fukushima and Tochigi than Tokyo.
