There was an event called Newtype vol 1 last night at the Take Off 7 in Shibuya. This was a live where they had four "bands" perform. The third band to perform was Happy Park, a new band which was just formed. Tsuchiya Mieko does the vocals for Happy Park, and there are four other guys (3 guitarists and 1 drummer).

I'm not much of a fan of rock band music, so I can't comment on the music that much. Of course if Mieko wasn't there, I would never have gone. Give me idol songs any day!

Unfortunately, Mieko was sick or something, and her throat was pretty bad. Her voice was barely audible during the songs, and when she talked she sounded like a different person.

Visually, Mieko had her hair in twin tails off to the sides, and she was jumping around a lot, making her tails flop around a lot. Very cute. (^_^; But Mieko was wearing jeans, her clear orange Heart Chu high heels, and a white sleeveless top.

Also they let people in by the order they lined up, instead of ticket number! Since I had ticket number 2, this was very annoying.. The reason was because each band had sold tickets separately, so they didn't have unique numbers.
