Idol Toshikoshi Live
The Take Off 7 Idol Toshikoshi Live let in at 19:00, started at 20:00, and was supposed to go until 24:30 or so. The emcee was Shintani Sayaka, and there were many guests. They gave a CDR (an audio CD) as a present to everyone who came. There was also an auction, with goods donated by each of the guests. But this was a closed bid auction. Cutie Pai was a guest at this event, and also at the Fairly Island countdown event in Live Inn Magic (Yotsuya). I thought that Cutie Pai would finish their stage here, and then go to Yotsuya for the countdown, and the rest of the evening. But they said that Cutie Pai would return to Shibuya for the auction at the end of the event (around 24:30)! How can they do the countdown in Yotsuya and return to Shibuya by 24:30?! How can I do that? That late at night, the number of trains decreases, and it takes at least 30 minutes (assuming I don't have to wait for the trains at all). So I knew I would have to take a taxi (as the actual distance between Yotsuya and Shibuya isn't that far). I had to hope that the streets weren't too crowded.. I was number 5, so I got a seat in the second row, dead center. The event flowed as follows (the part that I stayed to watch).
There was a mistake by the sound engineer during Cutie Pai's stage. After their talk, they got into the formation for "Love Power", but the music to "Peaty Time" started. So Cutie Pai got to sing one extra song. (^_^; After Cutie Pai's stage, I didn't know what time they would leave Take Off 7, so I kept a watch on the exit. I thought they would leave right away, but they didn't.. Luckily I got to watch Asuka's stage. She sang some nice songs.. (^_^; Asuka said she used to play Tokimemo, and she went after Asahina Yuko first. Also at the end of Itou Asuka's stage, she talked about the new game Chocolate Kiss, and Miyanishi Noa came onto the stage! She said, "Please buy Chocolate Kiss." Noa and Aina had come to watch the event, and they were watching from the back. Then during Shintani Sayaka's first song, I saw Cutie Pai leave. They were wearing their coats over their stage outfits! So I waited until Sayaka's first song finished, and left also. The organizers knew that some people would leave, so they had a system where they would stamp your hand, so you can enter again. I walked to Shibuya station, and didn't have to wait much for a train. I went to Shinjuku on the Yamanote, and then took the Chuuou to Yotsuya. Since I didn't have to wait much at all in Shinjuku either, I got to Live Inn Magic in just under 30 minutes. Then I went to the Fairly Island countdown event. But since Cutie Pai was going to return for the final auction, I had to return too. (^_^;
I returned to Shibuya by taxi at around 24:20, so I was able to catch the final part of the Idol Toshikoshi Live. Even though Cutie Pai's car had left Yotsuya before mine, I arrived before they did. Luckily my taxi driver avoided the crowded streets. When I returned, I saw Sayaka and Asuka singing "Kira Kira". Then everyone came onto the stage for the auction. This was a closed bid auction, but the girls chose the winners. So it might not have been the highest bid, but the funniest comments. (They had people write in comments as well as the amount.) Cutie Pai's item was their summer outfit. I don't know if it was one of the outfits of the girls, or another one that Makky made. The winner was one of my friends Mr T, who bid 30,000 yen. Then the final song was "Fight" by all of the guests. Makky didn't sing this, as she didn't know it at all. (^_^; Miyuu and Mayu-chan were able to sing most of it. The event ended around 24:45.
