Heart Chu signing session
There was a signing session for the Kira Kira Melody Gakuen official fanbook Stand Up on December 19. 1999 at the Tora no Ana Bookstore in Ikebukuro. They had limited it to 100 people, but there were actually less than that. The guest was Heart Chu. The signing session was held on the 5th floor of the bookstore, which is usually an office. Everyone lined up on the stairs, and waited for the event. The numbers on the reservation tickets weren't used, and everyone lined up in the order they arrived. When the event began, everyone went up to the table (one by one) where the three girls were seated. Sayaka was on the right, Mieko was in the middle, and Jun was on the left. The girls were wearing the sleeveless white, blue, and pink outfits that they wear when they sing. It was run like a fast food store, where you went to the girl who was free. The books were pre-signed, and one of the girls wrote your name on it. Then you got to shake hands with the girl. There was also a drawing for a prize (13 prizes in all).
I went up to Junjun (Takahira Jun), and I didn't win any prize..
Will went up to Mieko.
I told her that Will was from America, and she started to get nervous..
But she wrote Will's name in English.
Also Will won a prize!
But since they didn't sell out the 100 books, they allowed people to buy the book on the spot, and go again. So I bought another book. (^_^;) This time, the girls signed the book on the spot. Instead of the front of the book, I asked them to sign their own pictures (as each girl had a half page in the book). I also got to shake hands with all of them. (^_^;) Even though they allowed people to go many times, I think there was a lot of time left over. Photos were not allowed during this event.
before the event omake (^_^;)Since I had no idea how the event was going to run, or how crowded it was going to be, we went to the store at around 13:00 to check things out. When we got to the store, Mieko, Sayaka, and Junjun were walking out of the store (wearing winter coats over their outfits), along with a few cameramen.The Heart Chu girls were getting some pictures taken on the street, outside of the store..
