Radish Roxs event
The debut event for the new group Radish Roxs took place on January 15, 1998 at the Hakuhinkan Gekijou in Ginza. It snowed a LOT in Tokyo this day! The Radish Roxs CD was supposed to come out at the end of 1997, and there was supposed to be an event at that time, but things got pushed back, and this was their first event. However, Konishi Hiroko couldn't make it for this event. Both sessions were basically the same. The event started off with a song. Then there was some talk, as they invited the creator and artist of the story behind Radish Rox. There is a novel of the same name, with these five seiyuu playing the characters in it. There is also going to be a game coming out for Radish Rox. Then there was a very long audio drama, that was done live. This drama was around 40 minutes (divided up into two parts with a 10 minute break in between). After the drama, there was another song. Then they went into the question and answer session, and the presents corner. At the end, Radish Roxs sang one more song. All of the songs were done by karaoke, and they did not play musical instruments themselves.
outfitsFor the first song, Asada Yoko sang in the middle of the stage, and the others did background vocals with stand mikes. Standing left to right: Shibahara Chiyako, Toyoshima Machiko, and Okada Kanako (tall, short, tall)..Machiko was wearing a green and blue checkered long sleeve shirt, over a black T shirt, and jeans. She had two green clips in her hair, on the left side. She was wearing black boots, heels not too high. Machiko's hair was getting longer, coming down onto her shoulders and flaring out a little. Yoko was wearing a dark purple and light purple shirt (long sleeve), with a brighter purple mini skirt. She had brown tights and very high platform shoes.. [But she was still the shortest.. (^_^;)] Chiyako was wearing a long sleeve black T shirt and long pants. Kanako was wearing a long sleeve brown shirt and long pants. She also had a short scarf around her neck. After the break, everyone came out in front of the curtains, and they had changed clothes. Machiko was wearing a brown and white one piece (long, down to her ankles), with buttons running down the front. She was wearing a necklace, but had no clips in her hair. Yoko was wearing an orange/yellow sweater, and jeans. She also had a yellow, short, furry scarf. Chiyako was wearing a vest over a white, long sleeve shirt. Kanako was wearing a pink sweater.
some details from the talkFor the question and answer session, they asked the crowd to write questions before the event, and they pulled the questions out of a box.Machiko has a fetish for guys (and also girls) with glasses. She also said that she likes girls with lighter skin. Machiko likes the opposite of herself, as she has very good eye sight, and she has darker skin.
This was Okada Kanako's first event. Also the recording for the song was her first recording. It was very hard for her, so she had to have the guide song playing in her headphone during the recording. [more to be filled in later]
