Kamiya Akira's anime seiyuu on stage
Since the first charity event that Kamiya Akira ran for the Hanshin earthquake victims on 1995.05.21, he has regulary held events and concerts at the Mitsukoshi department store in Nihonbashi. This time it took place in the middle of the Summer Children's Fair, and he invited many seiyuu guests. There were two sessions, both almost the same. There were talks, songs, voice lessons, and presents by the guests. They allowed pictures at this event! (this is very rare now)
rehearsalI went there a couple hours before the event, and found that it wasn't as crowded as the previous events. So I found a seat in the third row on the right side of the stage. This event was on the same day as comic market.Then around noon or so, Kamiya Akira and the other guests came onto the stage for rehearsals. Hikami Kyoko was wearing a white Budweiser T-shirt, white long pants, and a hat. They rehearsed their songs for about 30 minutes and went back off the stage.
first sessionWhen the first session started, Kamiya Akira came onto the stage and sang an old anime song. Akira was wearing a very colorful, flower design, blue shirt, and white long pants. After a short talk, he sang another song, Lonely Lullaby, which was a City Hunter ballad.Akira called his guests, Furukawa Takako, Hikami Kyoko, and Yukino Satsuki. Furukawa Takako was wearing a colorful, flower design, yellow shirt, and white long pants. She also had a white hat. Hikami Kyoko was wearing a reddish purple, one-piece dress (the skirt came down to above the knees) over a white shirt (no sleeves). Yukino Satsuki was wearing a red, sleeve-less one piece. She was wearing a cap too. They sang several songs together (anime songs and children's songs). They even called some kids onto the stage to sing children's songs together. During these songs, Kamiya Akira came down into the crowd and tried to get everyone to sing together. Then they called some people from the crowd to go up to the stage for Kamiya Akira's seiyuu class. Kamiya Akira gave advice by doing lots of various voices, and talking about some of the techniques that he used to create many voices. Hikami Kyoko also did a few of her character voices. She said Momoko's voice (Wedding Peach) is her normal voice. At the end, Hikami Kyoko sang Pure Love.
second sessionThe second session was almost the same as the first. Some of the songs that they sang were different. Some of the guests changed clothes.Hikami Kyoko was wearing a yellow tank top and white long pants. Yukino Satsuki was wearing a light green shirt, and short shorts. Shocker Ohno came onto the stage for a little while too. Kamiya Akira talked about Conan and Ganbarist Shun. Many of the staff are the same for both, and as both are recorded on the same day, it is a very long day for them.
signing and handshake sessionAfter the event was over, the four guests (Kamiya Akira, Furukawa Takako, Yukino Satsuki, and Hikami Kyoko) held a signing and handshake session for those people who bought CDs. I bought Hikami Kyoko's Pure Love CD.The next Kamiya Akira concert will be 11/3.
