Kira Kira Melody Gakuen 2 Gakki
This is the first video of Kira Kira Melody Gakuen that was released. This was on sale at the Anime Kouhaku Utagassen event on December 27, 1999. It says the running time is 20 minutes on the video, but the total time is closer to 27 minutes. This contains an introduction of the 51 girls (mixed with song clips), and a special animation of Kira Kira Melody Gakuen (maybe the OP to the TV anime?). All song video clips are from the Kira Melo Halloween event. The video starts with a funny opening skit by Matsumoto Chiyomi. The first song was the Kira Kira Melody Gakuen Theme song, sung by everyone. During the song, they showed some other short video clips of the girls backstage, and some of the scenes from the Halloween costume contest. Then near the end of the song, they started the self introductions of the Kira Melo girls. It was labeled as the "15 Minute CM", but it should be "15 Seconds". (^_^;) They showed the introductions of the girls number 1 to 28. The BGM changed from the Kira Melo Theme to Odoru Houkago. The next song was Say-U by Muteki Palette. During the song, they also had a few other song clips, of Dear Me and Tokunaga Ai. Then during the second verse of the song, they had the introductions of girls 29 to 38. The introduction of Suzuki Michiko (number 33) was done over the phone, as she is studying abroad now. The next song was Kira Kira by Heart Chu. They showed clips of Melo Melo Melon, Itou Emiko, and Heart Chu's Tsu Ru Ru Daishouri during the song. During the second verse of the song, they had the introductions of girls 39 to 52. The last song was Daisuki, sung by everyone. They showed clips of the girls in the dressing room, and some short scenes from the rehearsals. During the second verse of the song, they had the introductions of girls 53 to 63. At the end, they had a group picture of the girls, and a few of them gave an ending message. [around 25 minutes up to here] Then the special bonus video was an animated sequence of Kira Kira Melody Gakuen (maybe the OP to the anime?), animation by AIC. The background song was Kira Kira.
