Gerugeto Shocking - 1997.06.12
This week is an "The End of Evangelion" special on Geruge. The current rankings of the Evangelion characters poll:
They played "Tamashii no Rufran" by Takahashi Yoko. The first guest was Yamaguchi Yuriko. When she came, she read her own introduction, by mistake. It was supposed to be read by one of the host. They said that this was the first time on this radio show that the guest read their own introduction line. Yuriko said that she just woke up, as she had been sleeping on the train. She played the quiz game with a listener, and they got 6 questions correct. Then Yuriko answered some questions. [She kept her guard up, so she really didn't give away any new information regarding the Evangelion movie.] Q: Where there any shocking scenes?
Q: Do you really know Chinese and Mongolian songs?
Q: Did you cry recently?
Q: Is Ritsuko in the movie?
Q: Does Ritsuko die?
Q: Does Ritsuko have any shocking lines?
Then they gave out the information about the Evangelion concert on 7/6 to 7/8. There were also going to be two more sessions, on 7/9 and 7/14. The tickets to these sessions will go on sale 6/27. Miyamura Yuko and Yamaguchi Yuriko will be the guests on 7/9. The "Evangelion Story" was by Soryuu Asuka Langley (Miyamura Yuko). Asuka introduced herself, then talked about Rei and Shinji. At the end she mentioned the nine production Eva with wings that can fly. The monologue was about 2 minutes 40 seconds long. Then they played "Reflection" by Hayashibara Megumi. The second guest was Miyamura Yuko. The Geruge hosts had just watched a tape of the Evangelion movie preview, that was currently being shown in movie theaters. They said that it was totally live action (no animation). Yuko was in the role of an OL (office lady). There was a scene where she was looking at a kiss mark in the mirror. The role of Yuko's boy friend was done by Seki Tomokazu. Mitsuishi Kotono was playing the role of their next door neighbor. Q: Is this live action going to be used in the movie?
Yuko played the quiz game with a listener, and they got 6 questions correct. Then they played "Daijoubu na Egao" by Miyamura Yuko, which is the coupling song with her single "Heisei Ijinden". Yuko fielded some questions. [Yuko was very cautious about not giving away information too.] Q: When did you finish the recording?
Q: What do you feel about Shinji's scene in the spring movie?
Q: How was the recording?
Q: Were you satisfied with the ending?
Q: Does Asuka die?
Q: Is there any information that you can give out?
