Kikuko: Do you think I can wake up right away? Just as you can imagine, I can't. I have two alarm clocks. I don't want to be surprised with a loud alarm. So I have the type that that increases in volume with each beep. Also it's the type that you have to push the button in a certain way or it won't stop. When I want to wake up at 7:00, I set the first alarm at 6:45, and gradually wake myself up. I have the loud alarm go off at 7:00. Then I have to repeat this a few times before I can get up.
