This was the second broadcast of this radio show, and the guest was Akahori Satoru, the creator of Saber Marionette J. The radio drama of Saber Marionette J will start next week.

There were some questions posed to Satoru.

Q: Please give some background information about the world of Saber Marionette J.
Satoru: This was a planet where there were only six men. They built up the population by building clones of themselves. Also there were robots/androids called marionettes instead of females. Then after 300 years, women re-appeared on the planet.

Q: How did you come up with this idea?
Satoru: The concept of robots and people existed for a long time. I was moved by Kikaider and Hi no Tori, and I've always wanted to do this kind of story.

Q: Lime, Cherry, and Bloodberry. Where did you get these names?
Satoru: We wanted easy names, so we decided on fruits. Lime, Cherry, and Blueberry. But we wanted to make her seem older and deeper than the others, so we changed it to Bloodberry. The names of the saber dolls, Tiger, Luchs, and Panther come from German tanks, which are names of cats. So it's the fruits against the cats.

Q: Is this new radio drama a continuation of the TV series?
Satoru: The TV ending was very emotional and we didn't want to destroy the feeling that it created. This story will be a continuation of the TV series. By the way, R takes place 200 years after J.

Q: Lime, Cherry, Bloodberry, and the saber dolls. If you can go out with any of them, which one would you go out with, and what would you do?
Satoru: I want Cherry to cook for me at home.

Satoru said that the first seiyuu that he met was Horiuchi Kenyuu. Kenyuu was also the first one that he went drinking with.
