The OP song for the movie Slayers will be Midnight Blue by Hayashibara Megumi, and will go on sale 7/21. But there will also be a song by Kawamura Maria going on sale the same day.

Then they played Midnight Blue.

The guest this week was Kusachi Fumie.

Nobita: What do you feel about the breakup of Hummingbird?
Fumie: Everything became white. Hummingbird was everything to me. When I heard that we were breaking up, I wasn't sure if I can believe it. Right now I'm working for the final concert in August. But after that's over, I don't think I'll know what to do.

Nobita: I remember when you first came, you were asking Hidaka-san about how to do the voices and how to make the mouth match.
Fumie: Yes, I remember that. But although I listened very carefully, I still didn't get it for a while.
Nobita: Was there anything that changed a lot in these three years?
Fumie: I think I have gained a lot of courage. Before I would put one foot into the studio and shy away. I used to go into the studio, say "hello" and then go right into the toilet.
Nobita: So that's a place where you can relax by yourself.
Noriko: There were times when I went to the toilet many times during the recording to be by myself.
Fumie: When there is some time before the actual recording starts, I didn't know what to do with the time.
Nobita: How long did it take before you were able to go to the studio and just relax?
Fumie: Even now, I'm not fully relaxed. I can sit by myself and stare at the script.. I guess it took about a year and a half.
Noriko: But with so many girls, it must be like a girls' high school.
Fumie: No it's not like that at all. Since we are all weak in the morning, nobody speaks a lot. I thought everyone was mad. It took about a year or so to realize that everyone was just sleepy.

Nobita: What was the hardest thing for you in this work?
Fumie: My body is not so strong. I had sung before, but singing is not the same as speaking. I had never done any acting before, so it was very hard to bring up my feelings to match the character.

Then they played Yume no Basho he, by Hummingbird. This is the ED to the new OAV, and it was their first ballad.

The final OAV which was supposed to be released on August 1, will be delayed four months to December 1. (LD will come out December 21.)

Nobita: Have you started the rehearsal for the final concert?
Fumie: We are still in the planning stages, but we will start rehearsal soon. We have decided on most of the songs that we will sing.

Nobita: So do you think you will start crying on the stage?
Fumie: I think I will. Everyone tells me that I will be the first one to start crying. But maybe Hekiru-chan will be the first one..
