Sentimental Night - 1997.10.20
Mariko had a dream that she was one hour late for the recording. There was a message from class A. Like all of the previous messages between the groups, the three girls from class A tried to point out "weaknesses" in the girls of class B. Urarako admitted that she eats a LOT, around three times as much as normal. Asami said that Junko cried when they went to a haunted house. Junko said that it was true, she is scared of haunted houses. The first corner was the "sentimental mistake" corner. Mariko read a letter from a 18 year old guy who went on his first date ever. At the end of the date, he and the girl kissed. But he remembered his friend telling him that one sticks the tongue in during the kiss, so he tried it. But the girl hit him. But there is more! The guy forgot to write his name and address on the postcard, so he called his mother to go get the postcard at the post office. He realized too late that his mother might read the contents..
Mariko: He's 18 so..
There were two letters for the "watashi dake no corner". Then Urarako read a letter for the "dengonban" corner. The drama was Saikai 5 Byoumae, Deatta Koro no Youni Adachi Taeko story. The drama next week will be Sawatari Honoka. For the "sentimental love song" corner, Suzuki Mariko played Wasurenaidene by Matsutoya Yumi. When Mariko was a student, there was a guy she liked who was 6 years older than her. But he had a girl friend. Mariko used to write down everything about him in her diary. But then he got married.. so Mariko stopped writing her diary. She was listening to this song a lot at that time. After the ending, the BGM changed to When You Wish Upon A Star, and there was a short message by Mariko. "There was a time when I was so pure. I became a little sad today, but when I get home I'll play with Ginchi (her pet) and try to cheer up."
