Doushiyou Kamen no Uta (Inoue Kikuko)
A song from Kikuko's new album was playing in the background.

Kikuko: Good evening, I'm Inoue Kikuko. You're listening to a song from my new album. It's called Hoshizora Keiyu de Todoketai. I wrote a song about this radio program. Today will be a special about my new album!

Kikuko: The title of the album will be Fushigi na Omajinai, Tadaima 2 and it will go on sale 10/20. It was supposed to go on sale 9/20, but it got delayed one month.. I tried my best. I hope a lot of people will listen to it.

Kikuko: I would like to introduce all of the songs. The first song is called Fushigi na Omajinai. It's just a music box melody. I would like everyone to think about good luck charms or wishes while listening to it.

Kikuko: The second song is Yuubin Post no Sunday. It's about a mail box near my house. I named it Sunday. So I feel like I gained a friend.

Kikuko: The third song is Wendenyan Tsukiyo no Osanpo. This is about the future of Wendenyan, who was in my Tadaima album in the song Wendenyan no Uta.

Kikuko: The fourth song is Mori ga Yondeiruyo. I began to hear voices saying, "Please come play in the forest." So I wrote this song.

Kikuko: The fifth song is Hoshizora Keiyu de Todoketai. It was always a dream to be a radio show host. But I always thought that I couldn't do it. But with everyone's help I was able to, and I made a song out of my happiness.

Kikuko: The sixth song is Ajisai. I talked about this on the radio show before, but there is a hydrangea flower in people hearts that change color when they fall in love.

Kikuko: The seventh song is Pauline to Shounen. Pauline loves ramen. She eats ramen all day. A boy falls in love with Pauline, but he hates ramen. It's like a story song.

Kikuko: The eighth song is Kono Umi wo Oyoginagara. It's a song from the point of view of a little fish. I like swimming, but when I can't go to the ocean, like when I'm on the train or when I'm in the studio, I can close my eyes and imagine that I'm in the ocean.

Kikuko: The ninth song is Doushiyou Kamen no Uta. There is a doushiyou kamen around me. Whenever I have to make a decision, I always say, "Which one should I choose, doushiyou, doushiyou.." and the doushiyou kamen appears around me.

Kikuko: The tenth song is Aikotoba ha Shiawase. I think everyone has dreams, and I think the most important thing is to believe in yourself.

Kikuko: The eleventh song is Anatano Tame ni Dekiru Koto. This is what I am feeling now. To all of my fans who cheer for me, give me presents, send me letters, I feel like I can't do anything in return. So I made a song out of my feelings for what I can do.

Kikuko: That is all of the normal songs. But there is a twelfth song that is family service. It's called Wagaya ha Nandaka Hawaiian. [The song stared playing in the background.] Do you remember? I said that our house was very Hawaiian before. It was right when I was writing the songs, so I felt that I wanted to make a song out of it.

Kikuko: This song is fun. The la-lalala- part has my mother and sister singing in it. When we were going to the recording we all dressed in muumuus and put flowers in our hair and went. It was a lot of fun.

Then Kikuko played Doushiyou Kamen no Uta.

Then Kikuko read some scary letters.

Kikuko said that she used to be in the broadcast club when she was in fifth and sixth grade. She remembers that one day during the principal's speech, she and the other members were in the broadcast room playing. They had the window open and the little ball that they were playing with went out to where everyone was standing. Later on the teacher scolded them.

After Kikuko finished reading the scary letters, Yuubin Post no Sunday was playing in the background. She said that she feels all of the mail boxes, not just the one near her house are nice for being there to bring her all of the letters from listeners.

For those of you who can read Japanese.. Kikuko talks about Tadaima 2.
