  • 井上喜久子のトワイライトシンドローム - 1995.09.29

    Okamura Akemi (岡村明美)
The BGM was Hoshizora Keiyu de Todoketai.

Just as Kikuko was going to start reading letters for the Oneechan ni kike corner, some staff members brought in a birthday cake for Kikuko.

Kikuko: Oh, I'm so happy. It's so cute! Thank you very much. Is this all for me? Thank you.. I'm just kidding, I'll share it with you all.

Kikuko: I've already forgotten about my birthday. Also thank you for all of the letters and presents.

    Then Kikuko read some letters.

Q: There are many people on the train who are sleeping, but they wake up right before it is their stop. How can they do that?
Kikuko: Are you talking about me? I ride the train a lot and I do this too. I wonder why. Maybe it's one of the hidden powers in humans.

Kikuko: When I was in junior high, my teacher told me a superstition that will make me wake up in the morning. If you want to wake up at seven o'clock, you hit your pillow seven times before you go to sleep. Back when I believed this, it worked.

Q: In the quiz programs, there are many that say a one year supply of something. How do they decide on the amount?
Kikuko: I wondered the same thing too. When they say one year supply of food, is it 365? or is it 365 x 3? Also for candy.. one year supply for me would be a LOT. But there are some people who would only eat a little bit. I wonder how they decide.

This week the guest was Okamura Akemi, who was also with Ezaki Productions. They did the midnight virtual theater, and did a very scary drama.

Kikuko: Let me say it again. Thank you very much for the letters and the presents. I feel bad that I can't reply to all of you, but I'll put that feeling into my work.
