Ariyoshi Japon is a 30 minute late night talk show.
The in studio guest on the February 8, 2019 broadcast was Taketatsu Ayana.
At the beginning, there was a short video introducing seiyuu,
saying that current seiyuu do more than just behind the scenes voice work.
There was a video clip about Aqours, which had a little bit of their
Tokyo Dome concert and their appearance on last year's Kouhaku Utagassen.
The video mentioned that there are around 300,000 people who want to
become seiyuu, but there are only about 10,000 seiyuu.
But among them only 300 or so can survive doing just seiyuu work.
They showed some clips of students going to seiyuu school.
At around the midpoint, they switched to the studio,
and they talked to Ayana. Ayana said she went to seiyuu school around
10 years ago, and it was very different from now.
She said she never had song and dance lessons.
Ayana talked about seiyuu work.
She said that new seiyuu (up until three years) only gets paid 15000 yen
per 30 minute anime episode. The episode is 30 minutes, but the actual
recording work can take 3 hours or so.
Then the host asked about adult anime. Ayana said she can't do
adult anime (18 years and older), but some of what she did was pretty close.
Ayana's debut anime was "Kiss x Sis" and there were a lot of kiss scenes.
Ayana learned from her manager that she should kiss her own hand to make
the kiss scene sounds.
