Nagasaki Moe at Shinseido Quartier 5
Nagasaki Moe had a few events commemorating her second single, Kaeri Michi, and the first one was at the Shinseido Quartier 5 store in Shinjuku. In order to participate, one had to buy the CDsingle at one of the 26 Shinseido stores in Tokyo. The event took place at the TINY event space inside the Shinseido Quartier 5 store. They cleared out the CD shelves to squeeze in around 100 people. There were two sessions, as there were close to 200 people participating, and they couldn't all fit at once. I went to the store a little before 10:00, and waited until 11:00 (when the store opens) to get a numbered ticket. I was number 29, and everyone was told to come back by 2:15, as they would start letting in around 2:30. The first session started at little late, as they were having some problems setting up the sound system. We all got in around 3:10. The first row (around 10 people) sat on a bench, and everyone else had to stand. So people in the back (anyone over number 50) probably couldn't see anything. I was in the fourth row, center, only around 3 or 4 meters away from the stage. I saw people around me with their cameras out, and wondered if they were going to allow pictures. They didn't allow pictures at any of the previous events (for her debut single). The emcee came out right away and announced that pictures will be allowed,
but they won't allow people to use large zoom lenses.
Also recording of the event wasn't allowed, and the emcee said not
to put the pictures on the Internet.
The event started, Moe came onto the little stage, and immediately sang Asobi ni Ikouyo, the coupling song to her second single. Moe was wearing a purple, frilly, checkered, long sleeve one piece, (VERY cute as usual). After the song, there was a short talk session. Moe: The CD went on sale today, but the calls are already done. Thank you very much. They put the CDs in all "first block" Shinseido stores for this event, and it sold out everywhere. This song is a theme song for Mini Stop, and it will be playing in the stores every hour, starting 9/24. Q: What did you do during the summer?
Moe's favorite season is autumn. It's not too hot and not too cold. Also her favorite flower is cosmos, and it blooms in the fall. Then Moe sang Yume Miru Chanson Ningyou, a song that Moe only sings at events. This is a French song that Moe really likes. She had the lyrics written just for her, and she only sings this song at events. Q: What does Kaeri Michi mean?
Then Moe sang Kaeri Michi. Moe will have a new radio show starting in October. On Tuesday night at 24:30 on TBS. The title has just been determined, M's Garden. Moe: 24.. That's adult time. At the end of the event, Moe pulled out three names (everyone had to fill out a survey form before the event), and those people got signed posters. Then everyone shook hands with Moe, and received a signature board (pre-signed) when leaving. They only allowed one person to participate in one session, so those who had bought multiple CDs (and had multiple event tickets) were allowed to go shake hands with Moe again and receive the signature boards after everyone was done. [So I got to shake hands with Moe twice, and got two signature boards. (^_^)]
I was surprised that they allowed pictures.. Of course I brought my camera, and some lenses, but since I wasn't expecting it, I only had two extra rolls of film.. (;_;)
