Dream Power Haru Matsuri
The Bunka Housou Dream Power Haru Matsuri event took place on March 30, 1997 at the open theater in Yomiuri Land, a very big place. It can probably hold 3000 or more (if they use the grass seats). They started passing out the seat tickets at 9:00, which had the seat numbers written on it. I woke up late, because it was pouring rain the previous night and I didn't think they would have the event. I got to Yomiuri Land around 8:30, and there were around 1000 people there already. It took around 1 hour for me to get my seat ticket (around 10:00). I was in A-13-96, which was the 13th row, pretty far to the right of the stage. I think there were around 2000 people total. It was very sunny and warm.. I got sunburned on the left side of my face and arms. (^_^;) At first I wasn't planning on going, because I knew it would be crowded, and I wasn't much a fan of the original guests. But then I found out that Nagasaki Moe was going to be a guest in the second half.. The Dream Power Haru Matsuri was broken up into two events.
Tenchi Muyou radio show public recordingThe Tenchi Muyou radio show public recording was for the new radio show, called Aaa Shin Tenchi Muyou. Orikasa Ai and Takada Yumi came out onto the stage and said, "Aaa.." and stressed that part of the title. This new radio show will be one hour (the old one was 30 minutes).The guests for this event were Yokoyama Chisa, Mizutani Yuko, and Kikuchi Masami. Yuko was wearing a knee length skirt, and everyone else was wearing long pants. Chisa's outit was white with large black patches/dots, to make her look like one of the dogs in the Disney 101 Dalmations anime.. The first part of this event was a talk and a yes/no game. The emcee asked some questions, and each of the seiyuu had to answer yes or no (by moving to either the yes side or no side of the stage). One of the questions was "do you wear panties when you sleep?" Everyone answered yes, except for Orikasa Ai. Ai sleeps without panties! [I forgot the other questions.. (^_^;)]
The second part of the event was a song session.
Yumi, Chisa, Yuko, and Ai each sang one song.
I think the songs were from the latest vocal CD that was
produced by Kikuchi Masami.
Then Masami sang two songs. [He seemed to be singing for real.] Between each song, each seiyuu talked a little about the Tenchi shows. Ai, Yumi, Yuko, and Chisa also stayed for the second half of the Dream Power Haru Matsuri event.
