Kira Melo at Digi Chara Festival III

There was an one hour Kira Kira Melody Gakuen stage at the Digi Chara Festival III.

The emcees for this stage were Tsuchiya Mieko and Ohgoshi Tomoe. It was a very small stage, much too small for the Kira Melo songs and dances. So they moved back the crowd (we just sat on the ground in front of the stage), and several of the songs used the floor too.

Unfortunately pictures were not allowed. (;_;)

Around 40 of the Kira Kira Melody Gakuen girls participated. The ones that I noticed missing were: Arama Riasu, Kimura Ikue, Satou Chizuko, Sekine Miyuki, Suzuki Michiko.

The song event flowed as follows.

  • Kira Kira Melody no Theme (everyone)
  • Viva! Onnanoko Doumei (Itou Emiko)
  • Stay With Me (Sawai Natsumi)
  • Touch (Sawai Natsumi)
  • Say U (Muteki Palette)
  • megane club skit
  • Rin (Tokunaga Ai)
  • Tsururu Daishouri (Heart Chu)
  • Kira Kira (Heart Chu)
  • Daisuki! (everyone)

The first song was the standard "Kira Kira Melody Gakuen no Theme" by everyone.

The next song was "Viva! Onnanoko Doumei" by Itou Emiko (°ËÆ£±ÉÌ£»Ò). This is the ending song to the TV anime Seraphim Call. There were also two back dancers for this song, Hosokawa Seika and Tanabe Miri.

The next songs were by Sawai Natsumi (Âô°æ¤Ê¤ÄÈþ) who sang "Stay With Me" and "Touch". "Stay with Me" is the theme song to the anime Cyber Star (Psy Buster?), and the back dancers for this song were Tokunaga Ai and Hinano Mayo, who were weearing black outfits.

The next song was "Say U" by Muteki Palette. Today there were eight girls (out of ten): Matsumoto Chiyomi, Sakurai Sara, Ohtsuka Mae, Takase Noriko, Yabuta Naoko, Kadowaki Mai, Furuuchi Rika, and Kuwakado Sora. Arama Riasu and Satou Chizuko were missing.

Then they did the megane club (glasses club) skit. The megane club members were: Hinano Mayo, Tokunaga Ai, Furuuchi Rika, and Shindou Yoko. Ohgoshi Tomoe was the "teacher" in charge of this club.

The next song was "Rin" by Tokunaga Ai (ÆÁ±Ê°¦). This was a slow song, and Ai used a stand mike.

The next song was "Stormy Dune" by Dear Me. But today's Dear Me was slightly different, as Kimura Ikue was absent. Sakurai Sara took Ikue's place.

The last group to perform was Heart Chu, who sang their two songs, "Tsururu Daishouri" and "Kira Kira".

The last song was "Daisuki!" by everyone.

Kira Melo booth

In addition to the stage event, there was a Kira Kira Melody Gakuen booth, luckily it was close to the main event stage. (^_^;)

The area around the Kira Melo booth was crowded all day. Most of the people weren't buying stuff either. There were always 5 or 6 girls there selling stuff. They signed whatever you bought.

They had paper crafts of some of the girls. A paper craft is a paper cutout doll (3 dimensional), that you have to cut and build. It has a head and body. There were around 10 different girls available. I think I can scan this and print it out and make the same cutout sheets.. I'll try that so I don't mess up the original. (^_^;)

The also sold the normal Kira Melo goods, 1 Gakki CD, Drama CD Super Flying Version CD, 2 Gakki video, Stand Up mook, etc.. In addition to that, they were taking reservations for a Kira Kira Melody Gakuen keitai (cell phone).
