On April 2, 2016, the first Venus Project Megameeting event took place at Club Seata in Kichijoji. There were two sessions, at 14:00 and 18:00. This was the first full Venus Project event since January 2016. There were going to be three Megameeting events, in April, in May, and June.

They let in by numbers as scheduled (30 minutes before the start). I was number A-63, but there seemed to be quite a few no shows. The A tickets were for those who bought all 6 tickets. It looked like there were around 100 A tickets.

Club Seata was pretty big (both stage and crowd area) compared to the live houses for the previous events. It was an "all standing" event, and there were around 100 or so people. There was lots of room in the back, so it was probably less than half full.

I got a third row position on the left side for both sessions. I was able to see fairly well.

There were more people for the evening session than the afternoon session.

At the beginning of the event, there were some announcements by Hara Eriko (Hata Sawako). There were pictures of Eriko on the screen at the back of the stage, and photos were allowed for just this part. Sawako just talked, but didn't appear on the stage.

The emcee for this event was Himesaki Ami. Both events were similar, and flowed as follows.

    • opening announcements (voice only) [Sawako]
    • [song] Venus Drive [everyone]
    • introductions + talk [everyone]
    • Kongetsu no Megami (this month's megami) [Sawako]
    • Shuffle Venus [Ami, Rui]
    • Venus Survey [everyone]
    • [songs] solo songs
    • [songs] duo/group songs
    • [song] Tenchi no Ichigeki [everyone]
    • Venus Project announcements [producer]
    • audio recording of crowd
    • final messages [everyone]
The talk parts and solo songs were different for the two sessions.

All of the girls wore the new white outfits. Sawako, Ami, and Marika had worn these outfits at the Anime Paradise event on 3/27, but this was the first time that all 5 members wore this outfit together.

The outfits were all slightly different. All of them were lacy, frilly white outfits, with frilly trim (tie, sleevess, stripe on the skirt) in the colors of each girl's characters.

Rui changed her hairstyle a little for the second session, but besides that everyone looked the same for both sessions.

After the opening song, the first corner was "Kongetsu no Megami". This was a corner where one of the members was chosen to be the megami of the month. This month's choice was Hata Sawako.

For the afternoon event, the topic of the talk was, "where do you want to go with Sawako?" All of the other girls chose a location, and what they wanted to do on the trip. Then Sawako had to choose the winner. Rui chose Osaka, Ami chose Fukuoka, Marika chose Austria, and Ruka chose Germany.

The next corner was "Shuffle Venus". This was a corner where two of the members talked or did something on stage. This month's members were Himesaki Ami and Tanabe Rui. The topic was drawing pictures. The girls drew pictures of their own Venus Project characters.

The next corner was "Venus Survey". This was a corner where they announced the results of the survey that was taken before the event began. They had passed out the survey to all the fans who were waiting in line.

The next corner was the live corner, and the songs were as follows.

    14:00 session

    • Aoi Kaze [Sawako]
    • Kimi Collector [Rui]
    • Croque Mademoiselle [Ruka]
    • Journey for Life [Marika]
    • Evolve [Ami]
    • Koijigawa [Ami, Sawako]
    • Mint Flavor [Rui, Marika, Ruka]
    • Shooting Star [Sawako, Marika]
    • Yume no Tsubasa [Ami, Ruka, Rui]
    • Tenshi no Ichigeki [everyone]

    18:00 session

    • Coin [Sawako]
    • Evolve [Marika]
    • Aoi Ichibyou [Rui]
    • Umbrella ha Ikaga [Ruka]
    • Mirai no Zahyou [Ami]
    • Koijigawa [Ami, Sawako]
    • Mint Flavor [Rui, Marika, Ruka]
    • Shooting Star [Sawako, Marika]
    • Yume no Tsubasa [Ami, Ruka, Rui]
    • Tenshi no Ichigeki [everyone]

After the live corner, there were some announcements about Venus Project by the producers. There wasn't any new big news.

They also recorded some crowd voices for the next drama CD.

During the afternoon session, they recorded some cheering sounds. At the evening session, they asked the crowd to do a call for Eriko, as she was going to be the main character in the drama CD volume 2.

Then there were some final messages by everyone, and the event ended. The event was just a little under 2 hours.

The high touch session started about 5 minutes after the event ended.

They had started selling goods at around noon, and gave out 1 high touch ticket per 2000 yen spent. They also sold goods between the two sessions, and after each event.

The CD Gekkan Voice Venus Project Vol.0 went on sale at this event.
