Veru Pola Girls (ヴェルポラ・ガールズ) is a group of image girls for
the Tokyo Verdy 1969 J League Soccer Team and Polaroid.
They appear at the
second half (2001) home games
for the Verdy soccer team,
and sell the limited edition Verdy Polaroid camera (3200 yen).
The first group of Veru Pola girls (chosen in early August 2001) are
(1) Miyanishi Noa (宮西乃愛), (2) Tezuka Chieko, and (3) Sakairi Nao.
The Veru Pola Girls first appeared at the Verdy home game on August 18, 2001.
They also appeared on the TV show
"Verdy ga Sukida!" on August 24, 2001,
the radio show "Ganbare! Tokyo Verdy 1969" on September 2, 2001,
and the radio show
"Tokyo Verdy 1969 Radio Club"
on September 29, 2001.
Starting on October 20, 2001, the Veru Pola Girls started wearing
a white jacket, as it started getting too cold for their regular outfit.
