School Idol Festival 2 Namahousou 2/2
This was a live broadcast by the seiyuu of Love Live for the game School Idol Festival 2. The hosts were Saitou Shuka, Houmoto Akina, and Liyuu. This show gave lots of information about the School Idol Festival 2 game. The pre-registeration for the game will start tonight at 21:00, about the time this broadcast will end. The first announcement they made was that the current School Idol Festival game will end on 3/31, just before reaching 10 years. Next they gave lots of information on SIF 2. The current SIF twitter account will become the SIF 2 account. They showed the main key visual image for the game. The game will have all songs from Love Live, even the non-main groups. It will start with over 500 songs. The gameplay will be very similar to the current game, with the 9 semi-circular tap buttons. They said that the "cut in effect" will be improved. Liyuu then said she turned off the cut in from the beginning. Then Shuka played the actual game. It wasn't much different from the current game, and the cut in didn't get in the way as much as in the current game. But Liyuu said she will still turn off the cut in feature. Next they gave out some more information about the features in the game. There will be a chat feature allowing the player to talk to the characters. There will be event stories for each group. There will be short movies inside the game called "School Idol no Nichijou". Then they showed a sample movie for Nijigasaki Gakuen. It was basically stills with dialogue, instead of animation. Then they showed some UR cards of You, Lanzhu, and Keke. They said that the current cards of SIF can be transfered to an album inside SIF 2. There will be advertisements with various new visuals inside the train station in Osaka, Nagoya, Sapporo, and Fukuoka. Then they showed a live action commerical featuring Ohnishi Aguri and Date Sayuri. They said that Nijigasaki and Liella will be guests at the Bushiroad Rock Festival 2023, on 5/27 at Fuji-Q Highland. The Nijigasaki members will be Sagara Mayu and Tanaka Chiemi, and all 9 Liella members will participate. At the end, Akina and Liyuu also played the game. Each played a song from their own group. They said that School Idol Festival 2 will be released in the spring of 2023. They only said "spring" and gave no date or month.
