The emcee was Yano Hinaki, and the event was split up into 2 parts.

The guests for the first part were Furihata Ai, Komiya Arisa, Aida Rikako, Tano Asami, Hayashi Koko, Murakami Natsumi, Tanaka Chiemi, and Houmoto Akina. They were the representatives for the units of Aqours and Nijigasaki.

The guests for the second part were Yabushima Akane, Aoyama Nagisa, Ohkuma Wakana, Yuuki Yuna, Nirei Nozomi, Nonaka Kokona, and Tsukine Kona. They were the representatives for the units of Liella and Hasunosora.

All the guests were wearing baseball style shirts.

The Love Live Unit Koushien event will take place on 3/9 and 3/10. The event will flow like a baseball game, from the top of the first to the bottom of the ninth. Each seiyuu drew a position from a box to determine their group's singing order for the day 1 event. They said that the day 2 positions will be kept secret until the event.
