The Shibuya de Chu! TV show sprang out of the
Seiyuu Collection events
that were held at the Shibuya Kouen Doori Gekijou.
The Seiyuu Collection events were very popular, so they decided
to make a TV series out of it.
Also instead of calling the seiyuu "seiyuu",
they called them "character artists".
This program is hosted by a comedian group Jarism
(Yamashita Shigenori and Watanabe Atsumu),
and character artist Ikezawa Haruna.
Each broadcast was recorded at the Shibuya Kouen Doori Gekijou,
and was open to the public
(pretty hard getting tickets though.. as they sell out in several minutes).
These
public recordings
were like a normal event (around one hour long).
This TV show consisted of a talk corner, a song corner,
a "virtual date" corner, and an information corner.
Miyamura Yuko became the host (assistant) in April 1998.
The guests and the virtual date partners were as follows.
