Megami Radio 1 (2016.07.21)
This was the first broadcast of Megami Radio. At the beginning, Sawako talked a little about Venus Project. Then she introduced the assistant, Ichimiya Saku. Saku was a new seiyuu, and this was her first seiyuu work. Saku called Sawako, "Hata-sama". Sawako said that she didn't have to call her that way, but Saku tried, "Hata-san, Sawako-san, Sawako-chan.." But she said she will use "Hata-sama". Sawako called Saku, "Saku-chan". Saku read the introduction line to Venus Project. Then Sawako and Saku gave some more detailed information about the Venus Project story. Sawako introduced her own character, Hara Eriko. Then they went to some of the mail topics. But since this was the first broadcast, there weren't any mails from the listeners. So they read some sample mails written by the staff. But there was a lot of talk by Sawako and Saku. Some of the highlights from the talk.. Sawako said she didn't have any friends when she was in college.
She ate lunch in an unused classroom by herself, and she said
there were others like her.
Sawako said that she felt that the veteran seiyuu that participated in the previous Venus Project lives were like "megami". They were all very kind. Both Sawako and Saku said that they liked anime girls with long, black hair. Sawako said she also liked blonde girls with twintails. After the mails, they played one song. The song was the opening song to the TV anime Venus Project, "Venus Drive", by Hata Sawako and Himesaki Ami. After the song, there was the Venus News corner. There will be three new Venus Project events in August, September, and October, called Jikkengata 2.5 Jigen Megami Live.
